Thank you all for driving down in the rain and giving me a chance to finally meet you in person and many thanks to you Jeff for setting this up!
Since I hardly see any other W124.036 cars on the road, it was a pleasure to see Albert and Dave in the red E500 on the road for the drive down – I must have been glued to the rear view mirror most of the time on the drive down just to see the front of the car in motion. Btw, Dave - is car’s front chock ok?
This was a great but short GTG that we should try to do on a regular basis and I’m down to have it held at the Coffee and Cars location, my cars needs a longer drive on the weekends anyway. April sounds good for the next GTG as the time in-between will give me a chance to drop in the Brabus suspension (once it checks out) and have all of my rotors plated.
On the drive back, my driver’s seat gave me a reminder that its 18 years old and some of the stitching popped, so looks like I’ll have to get new seats done this summer for sure.
